LS Series Plastic Waste Single Shaft Shredder With Small Volume And Wall Thickness

LS series single shaft light shredder has been specially designed for waste plastic products with small volume and wall thickness.

This series of shredders have a tangential in-feed to eliminate the need for a hydraulic feeding system. Outboard bearings and E-type smooth rotors with rotor widths of 600mm and 800mm, driven by a reducer. The rotor knife is fixed on the rotor by a moving knife holder. The rotor knife adopts a square knife with a groove in the middle. The 4 corners of the rotor knife can be used alternately, and each knife can be used 4 times continuously. The ultra-low speed of 60rpm combined with the compact design of the shredder itself makes it even quieter when shredding blocks. The plug-and-play intelligent control system guarantees that the equipment is ready at any time and place. Compared with other large shredders, LS series has a small footprint, flexible movement,and more convenient and fast maintenance.

LS series shredder has been designed for small and medium sized parts,such as:Pipes with small volume and wall thickness, Waste hollow, sheet, profile from plastic production manufacture, Lumps and purges from injection manufacture.

Belt Conveyor 

* The plastic waste is conveyed into the shredder through the belt feeding device; * The device adopts ABB/Schneider frequency converter for frequency control. * The conveying speed of the belt feeding device is linked with the fullness of the shredder, and the speed of the conveyor belt is automatically adjusted according to the current of the shredder.

Metal Detector 

Optional Ferrous Metal Permanent Magnetic Belt or metal detector can prevent metal specials from entering the shredder and effectively protect the blades of the shredder.

Hopper 

Special designed hopper to avoid material flying out. The machine is fitted with a large filling hopper and can be loaded by conveyor belt, fork lift, crane or wheel-loader. This funnel can be adapted to suit individual requirements and guarantees a continuous and economical supply of material.

Hydraulic Ram

The hydraulically operated pusher feeds the material towards the cutter automatically by load-related controls. The hydraulic system is equipped with overflow valves and volumetric flow controls, which can be both set according to the demands of the input materials.

Rotor 

The rotor is made of seamless steel pips with the diameter of 750mm and operates at a speed of 52 rpm. The concave ground, aggressive and 4-way rotating knives are mounted in the grooves of the rotor. This enables a reduction of the cutting gap between the counter knives and the rotor and guarantees a high flow rate, low power consumption and maximum output of ground material.

Screen
