With the intensive implementation of the domestic dual carbon policy, upstream and downstream enterprises in the field of plastic recycling and regeneration have received increasing attention from the industry.
Internationally, those global consumer goods giants have taken the lead by promising to use more recycled plastics. Their demand has prompted rapid expansion of production capacity in various aspects such as sorting, cleaning, and granulation.
The Crazy 2023 of Recycled Plastics
Food and beverage giants are embracing recycled plastics and fulfilling their sustainable development commitments.
Recently, Nestle announced that the company has added 50% rPET to the latest LeEco mineral water bottle launched in Nigeria.
Coca Cola India announced that they have recently started using 100% rPET in the 250ml and 750ml bottles of the Coca Cola brand.
Circular Plastics Australia PET is about to start production at its second PET recycling plant in Victoria, and with the first PET recycling plant already in operation in New South Wales, its total production capacity for food grade rPET recycled particles is expected to reach 50000 tons per year. Ashi Group (Asahi Beverages) and CCEP (Coca Cola Eurasian Partners) are the end customers of their food grade rPET.
Behind the above markets lies a potential device figure: ACERETECH Machinery. Their recycling production lines, which have been put into operation worldwide, have spread throughout Europe, America, Africa, and Asia.

ACERETECH recycling technology has been widely recognized by global brand merchants
Customers of the Qatari royal family and Pakistani giants producing rPET bottles stated, "ACERETECH's rPET recycling process has received positive feedback from us and approval from all company shareholders. We ensure thorough purification of PET during the recycling process and provide food direct contact grade rPET particles for PET bottle preform production and other types of food packaging."
ACERETECH once again reminds everyone that on December 19th, a closed door seminar on the policy research of primary recycling of plastic packaging for food contact has been held. The National Health Commission, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Chinese Academy of Inspection and Quarantine Sciences, and the Ministry of Ecology and Environment attended the meeting. We expect a heavyweight policy release involving the application of recycled plastics in China in 2024.
For both international giants and domestic equipment manufacturers, a historic opportunity lies ahead in 2024.
