Polyamide (PA) is a very important part of the synthetic fber industry. PA6 fbers are tough, high-strength, and highly elastic. Due to their excellent performance, the applications are very wide, and the business value is very high when recycled.
Recently, we received an inquiry from a Swedish client. The raw material is unqualifed PA6 waste fbers (in rolls or loose) from generated during the production process in the fber factory.

The client's plan is to recycle these waste fbers, then undergo modifcation. The fnal application is for the injection molding feld of the car.The recycled granules have an viscosity requirement of less than 0.06 dl/g.
How to recycle such waste silk and how to maintain viscosity after recycling, ACERETECH provides customized solutions.

Recycling process including two parts:
A.Size Pre-processing Unit:
Due to the hygroscopic characteristics of nylon, there is a tendency for hydrolysis reactions during the melting process because moisture is higher in the fber, Reducing the size is advantageous for a quick drying process and the removal of moisture during the compaction process, thereby increasing feeding effciency and capacity. We adopt a shredder to control the size of waste fber: to present suitable fber
dimension after shredding.

B.Melt&Plasticization&Extrusion Pelletizing Unit.
New cutting & compacting & extrusion system can achieve pre-drying and gentle plasticization of raw materials.
A 3-stage Roots vacuum system, it can effectively remove the moisture and small molecues from the melt and control the range of lV reducing.
