In our daily life, we often see some triangle and number marks printed on packages, but do you know what they represent respectively? And how to recycle them for re-use?
Plastic Recycling Symbols
The recycling label for plastic products were established by the Plastics Industry Association in the United States. The identification code of plastic material is printed on the containers or packages, from No.1 to No.7, so people can Identify the plastic material of products simply by the recycling labels. Each plastic container has a small ID card - a triangle symbol, usually at the bottom of containers. There are 1-7 numbers in the triangle, and each number represents a kind of plastic containers. They are made of different materials and have different environments.

No.1
PET (polyethylene terephthalate), the containers made of this material, are a common plastic bottle for soft drinks, also known as "Baote bottle".
Common mineral water bottles, carbonated beverage bottles, etc. When PET is heated to 70 ℃, it is easy to deform and some harmful substances will be melted out. PVC (polyvinyl chloride) is used to make water pipes, raincoats, schoolbags, building materials, plastic films, plastic boxes and other utensils.
The most common use cases are raincoat, building materials, plastic film, plastic box, etc. Because of its excellent plasticity and low price, it is widely used. But it can only heat to 81 ℃. It tend to produce bad substances at high temperature,  so it is rarely used in food packaging. It is difficult to clean, easy to remain impurities and other toxic substances, so do not recycle. Do not buy this drink if the drink is loaded with PVC material.
To recycle this kind of PVC material, we suggest you use a shredder and crusher firstly. For hard PVC , use a pulverizer to make the PVC flakes into powder; for soft PVC,  use a twin screw extruder to recycle it.

No.4
LDPE (low density polyethylene), plastic bags everywhere are mostly made of LDPE.
The common use cases are preservative film, plastic film, etc. High temperature will produce harmful , and toxic substances into the human body, may cause breast cancer, neonatal congenital defects and other diseases. Do not put the plastic film into the microwave oven.
LDPE Films Recycling
To recycle LDPE film, ACERETECH recommends you our ACS-H compacting and pelletizing machine, which combines the function of crushing, compacting, plasticization and pelletizing to ONE STEP.

(The common use case are soymilk bottles, yoghurt bottles, juice drink bottles and microwave lunch boxes. For recycle  PP bottle flakes,  ACERETECH has three choices for you. One is ATE series twin screw extruder; the second one is ASE series single screw extruder; If you need a machine with a super-large capacity, then ACT series conical twin screw extruder is your top option. No.6
PS (polystyrene), due to its low water absorption, is mainly used to make building materials, toys, stationery, rollers, as well as cup boxes or disposable tableware for drinks in fast food shops.
(The common use cases are instant noodles in bowls and fast food boxes. In case chemical substances are released, do not put it into the microwave oven due to high temperature. Avoid using fast food boxes to pack hot food. Do not cook instant noodles in a microwave oven.)
For recycle PS materials bowls and fast food boxes, ACERETECH recommends you our ACS-H compacting and pelletizing machine, which combines the function of crushing, compacting, plasticization and pelletizing to ONE STEP.

Other. PC type, such as water bottle and baby’s bottle; PA type, namely nylon, is mostly used for fiber textile and some household appliances and other products.
